Wildecats come from behind in the fourth quarter

Down 21-13 at the end of one quarter, the Wilde Lake boys’ basketball battled from behind to pull out a 59-58 upset over No. 13 Oakland Mills in a Howard County action at Oakland Mills on Friday.

Junior Trea Keys was one of three Wildecats in double figures as he led his team with 17 points. Junior Marc Marshall added 14 points for Wilde Lake and sophomore Cameron Burris scored 10.

Oakland Mills led 35-29 at the half, but Wilde Lake got within three after three quarters, before surging to victory in the fourth.

The Scorpions’ Daeshawn Eaton led all scorers with 20 points and Frederick Eiland, II added 10.

Wilde Lake remains undefeated at 3-0, both overall and in the league. Oakland Mills is now 3-1 overall and 1-1 in Howard County.
