Panthers win on the road at Glenelg Country


On the road in Ellicott City, Wednesday evening, St. Vincent Pallotti built a six-point halftime lead over host Glenelg Country and went on to post a 55-50 MIAA A Conference victory over the Dragons, as Will Webster-Brown poured in a game-high 24 points.

Webster-Brown did his best work in the second quarter when he scored 13 points to help the Panthers (2-2) turn a 14-14 tie into a 33-27 halftime lead. He finished with first half with 22 points.

Glenelg Country limited Webster-Brown to just two points in the second half, but Devon Williams stepped up for Pallotti, scoring nine of his 12 points in the fourth quarter to help close out the victory.

Austin Williams scored 13 points to pace Glenelg Country (1-2) and Franklin Ayissi Etoh added 11 points for the Dragons.
