The Baltimore Sun has reported that Patterson High School rising senior Ciara Webb has made an oral commitment to play women’s college basketball for Towson University.
Webb, who is only 5-foot-9, did not begin playing organized basketball until she reached high school, but was an instant sensation both with the Clippers and on the AAU circuit. Last season she scored 19.8 points per game and averaged 8.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists as Patterson’s point guard.
