Deshawn Weaver contributed to the St. John’s Catholic Prep offense in every imaginable way, Friday, as he had his hand in four tochdowns, as the Vikings defeated Severn, 34-21, in MIAA B Conference football action.
Weaver rushed for a 17-yard score, caught a 52-yard TD pass, threw a 53-yard TD pass and returned a punt 85-yards for a score. Overall, he had seven catches for 123 yards, one rush for 17 yards, and was 1-for-1 passing for 53 yards. And, just for good measure, he added eight tackles on defense and broke up two passes.
Viking quarterback Nick Peifer threw for 244 yards and a touchdown on 18-of-33 passing and had two interceptions on defense including one he returned 64 yards for a score.
