The area athletic schedule has taken another hit courtesy of Mother Nature. A mix of snow, freezing rain and sleet forced school systems in Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Cecil, Harford and Howard counties to close Tuesday, meaning cancellation of all afternoon activities. Most of the area private high schools also closed Tuesday.
The boys’ basketball doubleheader at Morgan State University featuring No. 1 Patterson versus No. 3 Patterson at Morgan State University, and Digital Harbor against No. 10 Lake Clifton has been postponed. A makeup date has yet to be announced.
