The Havre de Grace Lady Warriors emerged victorious in Tuesday’s girls’ lacrosse action, beating the Edgewood Rams, 13-11.
Working a four-goal lead at the half, Abby Blessing made five saves in the games opening period, and Erin Worthington made another nine saves in the Havre de Grace goal to hold the Rams off for the 13-11 final.
Christina Hawkins led the Warriors in scores, netting six goals, while Maddie Hewitt and Candace Knight each posted two goals.
Other scorers for Havre de Grace included Haley Dean and Carly Thompson, with Margaret Stump making the team’s only assist.
Havre de Grace will take its most recent win into a Friday night showdown with the Harford Tech Cobras, while Edgewood looks to send those Same Cobras into Friday’s game with a loss from their Thursday night match-up/
