The Havre de Grace Warriors served-up an UCBAC tennis win, Tuesday, winning seven of the 11 matches against the North East Indians.
Capturing individual wins in the boys’ and girls’ singles, Ben Getz and Tyler Cook earned two-set wins for the Warriors, as Marissa Moran and Amanda Combe did so in the girls’ division, with Moran winning in a third set.
The Warriors added two wins in the boys’ doubles competition, with the team of David Beck and Sam Richardson picking up one win, and the team of Chris Cook and partner Sebastian Pruitt claiming victory in the other.
Nina Cogan and Amy King paired together to bring home a girls’ doubles win.
North East captured four wins on the day’s events, seeing Ryan Mazurick and Sarah Cook earn wins in boys’ and girls’ singles, respectively, while the teams of Natalie Nieves and Molly Smith and Leah Corrado and Mazurick winning doubles’ competitions.
Corrado and Mazurick pulled out their mixed doubles’ win in two sets, 6-4 and 6-2.
