The Havre de Grace Warriors battled with the Edgewood Rams in girls’ lacrosse, Thursday, breaking a halftime tie to emerge victorious, 9-5.

Eight Warriors scored in the game, led by Miranda Blake and her two-goal performance, while Dara Newhart, Haley Dean, Maddie Hewitt, Margaret Stump, Katie Thompson, Candace Knight and Kara Neilberlein all added scores.

Edgewood kept the first half tight with Havre de Grace, matching its foe in a 3-3 tie, and saw two-goal nights of Jen Miller and Rebecca Conte compliment the lone goal from Natalee Olah.

Taylor Kennedy made 10 saves in the Edgewood goal, as Abby Blessing and Erin Worthington teamed for 16 stops in the Warrior goal, earning 11 and five saves, respectively.

The Warriors look to make the Perryville Panthers their next victims, Tuesday, while Edgewood faces Aberdeen on Monday.
