Gunner Waldt of St. Paul’s, who was a small school all-state selection in both 2009 and 2010 has signed a national letter of intent to play college football for Bryant University (RI).
Waldt was a three-year letter winner for the Crusaders and participated in the 2010 Army All-American Combine, in addition to being named to the 2010 Baltimore Touchdown Club and Chesapeake Bowl all-star games.
For St. Paul’s, Waldt played fullback and linebacker.
Waldt also was in goal for St. Paul’s as it won the MIAA A Conference lacrosse championship last spring.
