VarsitySportsNetwork.com joins the Fallston High School community in mourning the loss of Joey s’Etremont, a freshman football player on the Fallston junior varsity squad, who was stuck and killed by an automobile on Friday while attempting to cross Rt. 24 in Bel Air.
By all accounts, the 14-year old was extremely popular with his schoolmates, who turned out in mass for a candle light vigil to honor d’Etremont on Saturday.
According to police, the car which struck d’Etremont had the right away with a green light. Pending further investigation, no charges are expected to be filed.
Viewings for d’Entremont will be held Tuesday from 6–9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m.–12 p.m at Mountain Christian Church. A service and burial will follow Wednesday’s viewing.
