Carver Center softball routs Overlea to complete 9-0 regular season

The Carver Center softball team completed an undefeated regular season, Wednesday, with a 19-5, five inning rout at Overlea, as the Wildcats improved to 9-0.

Freshman Emily Hamp had one of several big offensive days for Carver, as she went 2-for-3 with a double and five RBI. Also swinging big bats were junior Jaiden Shaw (2-for-3, 2 runs, 4 RBI), senior Kennedy Brumagin (2 doubles, 3 runs, 2 RBI), junior Teagan Hoey (2 RBI).

In the circle, sophomore Mallory Cooper pitched two scoreless innings for the win and she went 3-fo-3 at the plate and scored three runs.

Carver now awaits a home date with Eastern Tech, on June 11th, in the regional final.
