MIAA B Conference vollebyall powers St. Paul’s and Boys’ Latin clashed on Wednesday and the Crusaders prevailed 25-22, 24-26, 25-21, 25-22.

St. Paul’s coach Jim Jung said, “The difference in this hard fought match were the efforts of Tanner Brooks, Tyler Sparks, Brett Parker and Louis Foxwell.”

Brooks set the ball 96 times and finished with 36 assists.  Sparks hit .250 and Parker hit .300, as the pair combined for 16 kils, while Foxwell led the passing with a 2.7 rating.

Marc Hall won 100% of his serves for St. Paul’s and the team served at 92% on the night.

St. Paul’s is now 7-0 on the season and 3-0 in the league.  Boys’ Latin (2-5 overall) lost for the first time in the league and is now 2-1.
