Sam Tana’s goal, three minutes into overtime, broke a 1-1 tie and gave St. Paul’s a 2-1 MIAA B Conference soccer victory over Park, on Tuesday.

Park (4-5, 3-4) led 1-0 at the half, but the Crusaders (6-4-1, 4-2) pulled even with just 2:45 to play in regulation, as Ilyas Mirza converted an assist from Leo Hara.  Har also assisted on Tana’s game winner.

One day earlier, St. Paul’s defeated Friends (7-1, 5-1), 2-0, sending the Quakers to their first loss of the year.

Tana assisted Alex Lerner for a first half goal and Will Ridgely scored, unassisted, in the second half.
