Crusaders come up with their second shutout of the season
St. Paul’s football won for the second time in three games, Friday, as the Crusaders went on the road and thumped Annapolis Area Christian, 41-0, in a non-league MIAA football game.
Garrison Curry caught a pair of first half touchdown passes and Josh Stinespring setup a 4-yard touchdown run by Zack Felton with an interception to state St. Paul’s (2-1 overall) to a 28-0 halftime lead.
Early in the fourth quarter Cole Blum returned the Crusaders third interception of the afternoon for a 10-yard pick six and later Victor Davidson returned a blocked punt 6 yards for St. Paul’s final score.
AACS is now 0-2.
