Calvert Hall led by one after the opening quarter, but the Crusaders rallied to take a 26-22 halftime lead and stretched their advantage to 14 after three quarters.

Three Crusaders scored in double figures, led by 14 points from Lamont Wade.  Cliff Cornish, a 6-foot-8 newcomer, added 13 points for St. Paul’s and Nigel Sydnor finished with 11.

Justin Beck paced Calvert Hall (1-1) with 16 points.

St. Paul’s, which dropped its opener to John Carroll, improved to 1-1 on the season.
