After a two-day delay because of snow in the Virginia Beach region, St. Paul’s School boys’ basketball squad returned to action Thursday, playing in the Ronald Curry Classic at Hampton University against Bethel (VA). The Crusaders ran into a hot scorer and fell, 51-41, in the semifinal round.
Aaron Bacote scored 22 points for Bethel (7-2 overall) after posting 32 in the previous night’s win over Atlantic Shores (VA). Tanner Brooks led St. Paul’s (8-2) with 17 points and Nigel Snydor finished with 16.
