The St. Mary’s Saints traveled to Calvert County to take part in the Patriots Classic this past weekend, and placed four wrestlers in the Northern-hosted tournament.
Top place-winner for the Saints was Gabe Pastirik, taking a bronxe medal at 125 pounds, while teammates Nick Amero, Byrce Pappas and Connor Crowley all took fifth at 103, 152 and 215, respectively.
The Saints next bit of wrestling will come in this weekend’s Eastern Shore tournament at North Caroline High School, seeing the team participate in a dual-meet tourney.
