Marial Pierce had four goals and two assists, and Brooke Wilson added three goals, leading St. John’s Catholic Prep to a 13-8 decision over Glenelg Country School in an IAAM B Conference contest Thursday afternoon.
Meredith Jones, Kelly Crowley and Beth Ann Pierce each scored twice for the Vikings (3-2 overall, 3-2 IAAM B) from Frederick, and Hannah Geerlings stopped five attempts in goal. Britt Jorgenson led all scorers with six goals for Glenelg Country (0-3, 0-3 IAAM B).
St. John’s Catholic, which won C title in 2009 and 2010 hosts reigning B champ Park School Tuesday in Frederick. Park plays Glenelg Country Friday afternoon in Ellicott City.
