With two second half goals from Joey Isaja, No. 6 Mount St. Joseph rallied for a 2-1 come-from-behind MIAA A Conference soccer victory over visiting No. 14 Calvert Hall, Thursday, in Irvington.
Matt Coury put Calvert Hall in front with a goal with just seconds remaining in the first half when he converted a free kick. Isaja found the equalizer in the second half, on a feed from Brett Smoot, and then scored the game winner with an assist from Eric Gettman.
With the win, St. Joe (7-2-1, 4-2-1) is able to stay close to the leader in division. The Gaels sit in third place with 13 points, behind McDonogh (18 points) and Gilman (14 points).
Calvert Hall fell to 3-3-1 in the league and 4-3-1 overall.
