Eddie Tarver scored a career-high 22 points and senior point guard R.J. Williams added 17 points and four assists, leading No. 2 St. Frances Academy to a 60-42 decision over Archbishop Spalding, in the teams’ MIAA A/Baltimore Catholic League debut Tuesday evening in Severn.
Rutgers University-bound center Greg Lewis posted his fourth consecutive double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Eric Fisher led Spalding with 14 points and Greg Brown finished with 10.
Spalding travels to McDonogh School Thursday for MIAA A contest before playing at the Bullis Prep Invitational this weekend. St. Frances next play Saturday evening at home against No. 1 City College at 6 p.m.
