Second half surge push No. 1 Panthers past Gilman for 13th straight; Epps and Baldwin combine for 30
Senior guard Elijah Epps had 16 points and nine rebounds and Adrian Baldwin added 14 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and four steals as No. 1 St. Frances Academy defeated Gilman School, 83-59, in a MIAA A Conference basketball contest Friday evening in Roland Park.
The east Baltimore school (28-2 overall) outscored the Greyhounds, 50-29, in the second half to remain perfect (14-0) in league play. The Panthers have won 13 straight decisions.
Rajeir Jones chipped in 12 points and three assists for St. Frances, and Bass Diop finished with 10 points, five rebounds and two blocked shots. North Carolina A&T recruit Edward Ferguson and sophomore Jordan Toles combined for 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
The Panthers host Calvert Hall College in a MIAA A/Baltimore Catholic League match Tuesday.
