South Carroll may have started their Wednesday night match-up against Westminster with a 12-0 deficit, but the Cavs were far from out of the match and went on to work eight falls en route to their fifth win of the season, 57-24.

Eight falls and a forfeit were just the six-point wins for South Carroll, who also saw a decision win from Atwell at 119 to add to the team’s win.

Westminster used a fall by Marmalukov (103) and forfeit to Robey (112) to post the 12-0 lead at the beginning of the match, but later falls by Meador (140) and Metcalfe (189) would still remain short of the Cavs total.

Pinners for the undefeated Cavs included Wampler (130), Plumley (135), Stavish (145), Caunt (152), Pooton (160), Reiter (171), Schmitz (215) and Wright (285).

South Carroll will head to the Pallotti Tournament this weekend, still preparing for a mutch anticipated mach-up with Winters Mill, Jan. 27.
