Cavaliers return seven starters in 2017
Now in his eighth year as head coach of the South Carroll girls’ soccer team, Andrew Isacco returns seven starters in 2017, as well as several additional returners with experience.
“To be successful, we have to work hard every day and play to our capabilities,” said Isacco. “We play a tough schedule, so we must be ready every game.”
Three seniors, forwards Kabe Brauer and Alyssa Chesney, as well as midfielder Tori Franklin, will lead the group. Other top returners include junior midfielders Megan O’Neill and Lexi Winkler, and junior defender Jamie DiTullo.
When observing the Cavaliers, who seek to compete with Century, Winters Mill and Westminster for the top spot in Carroll County, look for the player wearing No. 99.
According to Isacco, “A player wears No. 99 in a game for representing the team values of attitude, teamwork, integrity and effort, in the previous match.
