The first significant snowfall of the soon-to-be winter season (official calendar date Dec. 21) halted athletic events in the Baltimore metro area Thursday afternoon.
Among the events postponed was No. 7 John Carroll’s boys’ basketball team hosting top-ranked City College. City coach Mike Daniel said Thursday afternoon that game will be rescheduled for later in the season.
SCHEDULE UPDATE: Saturday’s boys’ basketball matchup of No. 1 City at No. 2 St. Frances will tip-off at 7 p.m.
