Tigers break a 2-2 tie and go on to win 5-3
With four goals scored in the first 15 minutes of the game, Rising Sun and Bo Manor were tracing up and down the field in the UCBAC boys soccer game, Wednesday evening at Bo Manor. The visiting Tigers, however, got a late first half spurt which propelled them to a 4-2 victory.
Demetri Smith scored twice between the 20th an 23rd minutes to break a 2-2 tie and propel the Tigers to a 5-3 victory.
Andrew Parker’s goal, in the 55th minute, created a three goal margin before Bo Manor’s Bean Bainbridge put the Eagles third score on the board in the 65th minute.
In the 7th minute, Quinn Struble scored an unassisted goal to put Rising Sun on the board first, but Chris Bainbridge, with an assist from Brandon Teixidor, tied it in the 9th minute for Bo Manor. Matt Christian push the Tigers back on top as he converted a feed from Andrew Park, in the 12th minute, but an unassisted tally by Zack Lawson, in the 15th minute, brought Bo Manor even once again.
Minutes later Smith started the Tigers on their decisive spurt.
