Darrisha Small scored with 2 minutes, 30 seconds left in regulation, lifting Joppatowne High to a 2-1 decision over Bohemia Manor in an UCBAC field hockey Wednesday.

The Mariners scored first as Alexis Watson finished a pass from Carlie Reuling. Bohemia Manor tied the match before halftime with Zoey Lockwood scoring unassisted.

The teams played through more than 27 minutes of scoreless before Small’s game-winner. Joppatowne coach Stella Kalambihis commended Ashley Martinez and Rodneisha Scott for their play in the midfield.

Hannah Naddaf had four saves for Joppatowne while Emily Woodall stopped 12 shots for Bohemia Manor.
