After opening the 2011 baseball season with a pair of losses, St John’s Catholic Prep got a complete game victory from Jonathan Mahalchick, on Thursday, as the Vikings downed Bullis, 6-3.
Mahalchick pitched seven innings, allowing just one earned run. Nick Peifer had three hits and Andrew Rivera added a two run homerun, to lead the offense. Cory Matson also added two hits.
