Missing three starters, Bryn Mawr got solid play from supporting players to defeat St. Vincent Pallotti, 25-17, 25-19, 25-8, in IAAM A Conference volleyball on Friday.
Sophomore Georgie Crompton was 19-for-19 serving with seven aces, freshman Kendall Sinosky had two kills and an ace, while starting libero Jaime O’Donnell, pressed into a middle hitter role, had three kills and two aces on 15-of-16 serving.
Susannah Matthai continued her strong season with 15 kills and 5-of-7 serving with two aces. She also contributed three blocks. Bryn Mawr was missing senior captain Rachael Franks due to a college visit, while junior middle hitter Kate Walker missed the match with a broken finger suffered against St. Paul’s on Wednesday. Junior captain and two year starter Bryn Dunbar missed her second consecutive match with a displaced patella.
Victoria Johnson had eight kills to lead Pallotti.
