Severn junior pitcher Joe Kotler, a three-year varsity player with the Admirals, was one of five regional honorees named Baseball Player of the Week for game’s ending March 22, by ESPN Rise.
Kotler, the East Region Player of the Week, picked up two wins on the mound as the Admirals went 3-0 during the week. In nine innings of work, Kotler pitched nine innings and struck out 12 batters.
In addition, he had five hits and scored six runs on offense.
