Severna Park’s volleyball team improved to 3-2 overall on the season after defeating host Meade, 25-12, 25-12, 25-20 on Tuesday.

The Falcons, ranked No. 16 in the latest Varsity Sports Network Volleyball poll, are 2-0 in Anne Arundel County action and have not dropped a set in either match.

Senior outside hitter Carli Converse had a strong game against the Mustangs, finishing with seven kills and went 10-of-11 serving with an ace.

Senior Erin Bell also had seven kills while adding 12 assists, seven aces and three digs.  Junior Marilyn Sherbondy went 9-of-10 serving with three aces and three digs.  Katie Liccione had four digs and an ace and Kimberly Bell had nine assists and three aces.

Next up for Severna Park is a trip to No. 10 Broadneck on Thursday at 5:30.
