Severna Park only received points from four different players in its non-conference boys basketball battle with Indian Creek, on Wednesday, but four of those netted double figures to help the Falcons edge the Eagles, 61-52.

Severna Park, which led most of the way, was led by 18 points from Joe Galdi, who also added 10 rebounds.  The Falcons managed to carry a nine point lead into the final quarter and, despite some hot shooting by ICS in the final period, Severna Park was able re-establish that lead for its final margin of victory.

In the final quarter, junior Rodney Davis was able to score eight straight for Indian Creek to get the Eagles back in the game, but Severna Park got some big offensive rebounds in what turned out to be a very physical contest.  Tashoun Barnes threw down a monstrous two hand dunk for Creek, to cut the Severna Park lead to 54-49 with a minute and a half to play, but the Falcons were able to make their free throws to seal the win.

Barnes led the way for Indian Creek with 14 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks.  Freshman Keion Bostick also reached double figures for Indian Creek with 10.

Indian Creek drops to 13-10 overall and looks forward to a huge game Friday night against the first seed in the MIAA C Conference, Chapelgate Christian.  With a win, Indian Creek can clinch the second seed for the playoffs and the opportunity to host a home game in the semifinals.

Severna Park improves to 8-8 overall.
