Fitzgerald and Campbell star as Admirals move to 6-1
The Severn swim team won for the sixth time in seven meets, Friday, afternoon, defeating Saints Peter & Paul, 105-61, in MIAA B Conference action.
David Fitzgerald won the 50 free and swam on the winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams.
Andrew Campbell was also on both of those relay teams and he was victorious in the 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle. Will Oliver also swam on the 200 medley and 400 free relay teams and placed second in the 100 butterfly.
Nick Subong was the final member of the 200 medley relay squad and Douglas was the fourth member of the 400 free team. Subong and Douglas, along with Kain Domenech and Grant Kunowski, also picked up a victory on the 200 free relay team.
Kunowski was an individual winner in the 100 free and Subong swam second in the 500 free.
At 6-1, Severn is second place in the B Conference behind undefeated St. Mary’s (6-0).
