Severn bounced back from its first IAAM B Conference loss on Wednesday to Roland Park by defeating St. John’s Catholic Prep, 2-1 on Friday.
Sophomore Ruby Gilmore scored both goals for the Admirals, who improved to 7-4-0 overall and 5-1-0 in league play with the win. Abbey Ritter assisted on one of Gilmore’s goals. Goalie Allie Schuh made five saves.
Junior three-sport athlete Marial Pierce scored the lone goal for the Vikings (3-5-0, 1-3-0). Megan Breen assisted the score. Goalie Hannah Kilfduff stopped nine shots to keep St. John’s close.
