Severn School came through with a big second half goal, on Tuesday, which paced the way for 1-0 win over St.Paul’s for a big MIAA B Conference soccer victory.
Joe Kotler knocked in a rebound off of Nick Stringfellow’s shot to score with 4:30 left in the game, and the Admiral’s defense held on for the victory. Defensively, goalkeeper Bobby DeStefano had nine saves for Severn, as the Admirals were able to prevail despite taking just five shots.
Severn (4-4 overall) improved 1-2 in the MIAA B Conference while the Crusaders (3-3 overall) fell to 1-1 in the league.
