Brett Bedard scored three scores and Cole Bailey handed out four assists as No. 8 Severn School recorded a 7-3 decision over 16th ranked Archbishop Spalding in a MIAA A Conference tilt in Anne Arundel County Tuesday afternoon.
The Admirals built a 6-2 halftime margin as they advanced their mark to 7-6 overall (2-4 MIAA Black Division). Nick Manis scored twice, and Mike Dennis and P.T. Lamon each found the net.
Bruce Overbay scored two goals for Spalding (2-6, 1-4 MIAA Red), and Connor Pequiney had the other score. Steve Bryant and senior Paul Newman each had an assist.
The Admirals venture to Brooklandville Friday afternoon for a league match with defending MIAA A champ St. Paul’s School. Spalding hosts Boys’ Latin Friday afternoon in league action.
