Severn used two second half goals to pull away from visiting St. Paul’s, 3-2 on Wednesday. Abbey and Kelsey Ritter each scored a goal and Morgan Kontor added another for the Admirals.
Beth Willertz and Brooke Sulerzyski both had assists while goalie Allie Schuh and Dora Kurtz combined for six saves.
Severn improved to 9-5-0 overall and 6-1-0 in the IAAM B Conference standings, which is good enough for second place, a half-game behind leader No. 15 Bryn Mawr.
Nevi Fernandez and Cameron O’Neill-Mullin scored for or St. Paul’s (4-4-0, 2-3-0). Sarah Hefner added an assist and goalie Tiffany McKee made 11 saves.
The Admirals defeated league rival St. Mary’s, 7-3, on Wednesday and St. Mary’s-Ryken on Saturday, pushing their winning streak to four games in a row.
