In the MIAA B Conference soccer opener for both teams, Boys’ Latin edged host Severn, 3-2, on Tuesday.
Senior Cody Moran scored for Severn, off a deflection by Junior Joe Kotler, after Boy’s Latin had gone up 2-0. Senior Nick Stringfellow then scored off a pass from Kotler to tie the game at two all in the second half, but Boys’ Latin scored the game winner midway through the second half.
Bobby DeStefano had five saves for Severn.
