The Severn boy’s soccer team opened its 2010 season on the road with a non-conference contest with Key School and, after a tight first half, the Admirals broke away for a 5-0 victory, on Tuesday in Annapolis.
Leading 1-0 at the half, Severn scored four times in the second half, while its defense maintained the shutout.
Juniors Joe Kotler and Kyle Moran each had two goals and one assist. Junior Chris May scored the other goal for Severn, while seniors, Russell Buhrer, Kevin Priddy and Colin Rainey all registered assists.
Devlin Nelligan tallied a save in goal for Severn.
