Mercy, playing its third game of the week including battles with fellow IAAM A Conference soccer powers McDonogh and Archbishop Splading, came up with a little breathing room early in its Friday contest with Mount de Sales, and cruised to a 5-1 win over the Sailors.
Alexander Neidoba registered a hat-trick to lead the Magic, which also received single goals from Alexis Prior-Brown and Alexandra Pryor. Neidoba also had an assist, while Prior-Brown had a pair of helpers.
Mount de Sales lone goal was scored by Jessica Jurney, with an assist from Lindsey Manser.
Mercy scored four times in the first half to take full control.
