Visiting Roland Park Country scored once in each half to defeat St. Paul’s School For Girls, 2-0, in IAAM A Conference field hockey Friday in Brooklandville.
The first goal came from a penalty corner with 5:55 left in the first half. Maggie Waxter inserted the ball to Caroline Seats who shot to the left side of the cage where Waxter was there to sweep it into the goal.
The second goal came on a fast break with 30 seconds left in the game. Maggie Waxter came up with a loose ball at midfield and sent a long thru pass to Seats who was cherry-picking just outside the top of the circle. Seats took about two steps and blasted the ball past the opposing goalkeeper.
