After a tight opening game, John Carroll took increasing control of it girls volleyball match with Annapolis Area Christian, Wednesday, and came away with a 25-22, 25-19, 25-9 sweep of the Eagles.
Taylor Schafer led the Patriots with eight kills, while Nicole Wagner and Jenny Hottle had five each. In addition, Brianna Lockhart had two kills and served up 22 assists.
