The St. Mary’s wrestling squad is on a roll, winning yet another dual meet, Thursday, with a 42-39 win over Mt. Carmel.
Getting help from five forfeits at 112, 119, 125, 130 and 215, the Saints still pulled off big wins at 103 and 152, seeing Nick Armero and Bryce Pappas work falls at their respective weightclasses.
Mt. Carmel won a total of six matches, plus a forfeit, earning wins from 135-pound Troy Sanders, Jerome Crosby (160), Daquane Booth (171) Ben Lesane (189) and Ian Arciaga (285).
The other Mt. Carmel winner was Calean Nixon, decisioning at 140, 3-2.
St. Mary’s will take to this weekend’s Andy Perez Tournament, while Mount Carmel comes back Dec. 17 for matches with Baltimore Lutheran and C. Milton Wright.
