The Maryland Christian Saints clinched the first seed for the Mid-Atlantic Christian Conference playoffs, on Saturday, with a convincing 47-3 victory over the Frederick County Eagles.

The Saints amassed 474 yards of offense in three quarters before taking their foot off the peddle in the fourth.

Junior Mike James rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns in the game, while junior quarterback Christian DiPaola completed 10-of-14 passes for 297 yards and four touchdowns through the air.  Senior Jed Yousefi was on the other end of two of DiPaola’s TD tosses and sophomore Austin Lee caught four passes for 120 yards and another score.

In addition, junior Evan Chase had one touchdown rushing and another on a 45- yard pass play.

The Saints are now 6-0 and have played stellar defense all season.  On the season, they have outscored their opponents 210-18.
