Playing at home on Thursday afternoon, Roland Park Country School won its second straight field hockey game with a 1-0 victory over Severn, in overtime.

In a close match which resembled the earlier meeting between the two teams, the outcome came down to a corner with 3:42 left in OT.  Caroline Seats struck the play into motion with a pass to Madison Formwalt, who fired a shot towards the goal.  Maggie Waxter then redirected the ball across the goal line.

The Reds had 17 corners in the contest, including three in overtime, before they finally broke through.  Severn only had four corner opportunities in the contest and RPCS outshot the Admirals, 8-7.
