St. Mary’s University senior captain Dennis Rosson, a product of Severn School, scored two goals and had an assist on Saturday, but his Seahawks dropped their season-opener, 20-7, to Roanoke University.
Rosson was joined in the St. Mary’s scoring column by three other former local high school stars.
Will Bell of Calvert Hall and Bobby Cooke of Mount Hebron each had two goals, while Gordy Long of St. Paul’s had a goal.
