All four goals come in the second half
North Harford hosted Rising Sun, Friday, in the boys soccer opener for both teams and, after a scoreless first half, the Hawks netted three second half goals and came away with a 3-1 UCBAC non-division win.
Chris Romaniello scored the first Hawks’ goal of 2017, in the 44th minute, and he netted the game’s final goal, in the 73rd minute, to lead the victory.
After Romaniello’s first tally, which was assisted by Brice Kemajou, Rising Sun got an equalizer, in the 53rd minute, when Ivan Herrera fed Braden Thomas to tie the game, at 1-1.
In the 67th minute, an unassisted score by Evan Michel put North Harford back on top to stay, before Romaniello iced it.
