River Hill got 12 points from Vicki Rowe as the Hawks posted a 43-34 decision over Long Reach in a Howard County girls’ basketball contest Wednesday. Stephanie Robinson added seven points for the Clarksville school (2-2 overall, 2-2 Howard).
Alexis Briscoe had 16 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots for Long Reach (3-2, 2-2 Howard) and Olivia Sanders finished with seven points and two rebounds. The Lightning plays at Marriotts Ridge Monday.
River Hill hosts Marriotts Ridge Friday.
