David Kaiser (pictured left) scored two second half goals as No. 5 River Hill High stormed past Oakland Mills, 3-0, in a Howard County boys’ soccer game Tuesday afternoon. Zach Riso added a score for the Hawks.

Kaiser, a senior transfer from Mount St. Joseph, converted a penalty kick, for the game’s opening score. Jake Turney made a run on the left side and sent a crossing pass across the Oakland Mills goal. Paul Del Reigo flicked the ball to Kaiser who finished in the left corner for a 2-0 advantage.

Turney made a run on the left side to the end line before cutting back and drawing three defenders. He passed to Alec Smith, who found Kaiser on the far post, and Kaiser finished for the Clarksville’s school final tally.

The Hawks improved to 7-1 overall and 5-0 in Howard. Monday afternoon, River Hill takes on reigning Class 3A champ and No. 4 Reservoir in a battle for first.
