The Rising Sun Tigers dominated on the wrestling mat, Monday, dropping only three matches on the night to earn a 49-15 win over the Patterson Mill, Huskies.
The Tigers were led py pinners Ty McGee (215), Joe Juergens (103), Anthony Cimorosi (152) and Scott Hayes (171), as Adam Heffelfinger started a seven-match winning streak from 130 through the match’s final bout at 171.
In the winning run, Robert Rakes (135), Jody Eveland (140), Lance Eveland (145), Cimorosi, Hyman (160) and Hayes (171) all recorded wins for the Tigers, prompting the 34-point win.
Patterson Mill had winners in Cory Myers, opening the match with a decision at 189, Mike Dashielle pinning at 285 and Zach Cullison getting a forfeit at 125.
Rising Sun’s next opponent is C. Milton Wright on Jan. 26, while Patterson Mill faces No. 11 Bel Air on Jan. 27.
