Rams dominate Baltimore County rival in East Baltimore; No. 2 St. Frances keeps rolling (VIDEO HERE!)

Randallstown High boys basketball picked a great time to get its first victory. The Rams routed 11th-ranked Milford Mill Academy, 78-53, at the St. Frances Academy Holiday Showcase in East Baltimore.

The host and No. 2 Panthers defeated Delaware’s Salesiasum, 104-40. Fifth-ranked City College remained undefeated with a 59-46 victory over Woodlawn.

Trailing at halftime, City came to life in the third quarter as it improved to 7-0. Dominic Carrington scored a game-high 21 points and junior guard Ahmad Harrison added 12.

Trailing 26-20 at halftime, City outscored the Warriors, 25-12, in the third as Carrington drained four three-pointer. Chandler Cuthrell finished with 11 points.

Tyray Cooper led Woodlawn (1-2) with 17 points. The Warriors will play Salesianum Saturday at 4 p.m. while City takes on Randallstown.

Salesianum was no match for nationally-ranked St. Frances (13-1 overall), which had 10 players score Friday, led by reigning VSN Player of the Year and Virginia Commonwealth University recruit Adrian Baldwin’s 22 points. Jamal West and Jahmal Banks each added 15.

The Panthers, ranked No. 23 by MaxPreps. led 44-22 at halftime before rolling up 39 in the third period. Baldwin finished with six assists and four steals, and 6-foot-8 sophomore reserve Andre Roy pulled down nine rebounds. St. Frances will play Milford Mill in the nightcap at 6 Saturday evening.

The Millers were ambushed by Randallstown, which led, 46-23, at halftime. Junior guard Quentin Wells scored 20 points for the Rams (1-2) and Chase McWhite added 17.

Andrew Rhuebottom led Milford Mill (3-1) with 14 points and Jermaine Goodwyn finished with 12.
